Quabbin - For the Joy of It
with Les Campbell
Come witness the amazing transformation of the valley with the construction of the Quabbin Reservoir. Special before-and-after photographs of the valley highlight this exhibit. Historical photos from Mr. Campbell's extensive collection will transport you to a time before the building of the dam, when four towns thrived in this region.
Les Campbell's home and studio are nestled in this beautiful setting, where he has been photographing for more than 40 years. He includes some of his award winning nature and wildlife photography to compliment this exhibit.

Special Benefit Raffle during this exhibit -- the lucky winner may choose any nature image off the gallery walls. Tickets will be on sale during the entire exhibit, only $1 ea or $5 for 6 tickets.
The exhibit will run from Oct 20-Nov 20.
Gallery hours are Tues-Fri from 11-2 pm.

Free Public Reception starts at 5:30, hors d'oevres 6-7 pm.

Join us on our trip to New York City! --Seats still available
The Valley Photo Center is pleased to sponsor another bus trip to New York City for the PhotoPlus Expo to be held at the Jacob Javits Convention Center on Saturday, October 24.
The bus will leave the Springfield area at 6:45am, make a stop at Times Square to drop people off for sightseeing, and arrive at the Javits Center approximately 9:45am. The expo opens at 10:00am. Feel free to attend the expo or spend the day sight seeing, shopping, or museum hopping in the city. The bus will leave at 6:00pm from the Javits Center with an expected return time to Springfield at approximately 9:00pm.
Cost for the bus trip is $45.00. Seating is limited to the first 47 people. Send in your payment to Valley Photo Center, 1500 Main Street, Springfield, MA 01115 or stop by the gallery during exhibit hours to make payment and reserve your place(s) on the bus.
